Summer 2017 is proving to be a busy time at several Q-Lab locations around the world, with building expansions/renovations underway to support its continued growth. Q-Lab is one of the leading global providers of weathering and corrosion test equipment and contract test services.
In July, Q-Lab broke ground on a major building expansion project at its worldwide headquarters in Westlake, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio in the US. Additionally, Q-Lab’s China office has recently completed its move to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Shanghai. The new office contains additional office space, more room for seminars and training, and an expanded laboratory for demonstration testing and ISO 17025-accredited calibrations. And finally, work is also underway at Q-Lab’s outdoor benchmark weather testing location in Buckeye, Arizona (a suburb near Phoenix), including upgrades to the office, specimen preparation and evaluation areas.
Q-Lab’s industry leading testers are used extensively in the paint, plastics, textile, consumer goods, and automotive industries for R&D, quality control, and to test for weathering, lightfastness, and corrosion durability. They are proudly manufactured exclusively at Q-Lab’s Westlake, Ohio facility.
