Q-Lab’s Gary Cornell Receives ASTM International’s Plastics Committee Award of Merit

Q-Lab, a worldwide leader in accelerated weathering equipment and outdoor exposure testservices, is pleased to announce Mr. Gary Cornell recently received ASTM International’s Committee on Plastics (D20) Award of Merit.
In addition to being recognized for his individual contributions to developing standards, he also receives the title of Fellow.
Cornell received the Award of Merit for his significant technical contribution, outstanding service and leadership to the Committee. He became a member of ASTM in 1994 and has served in various roles, including Vice-Chair since 2006. He also currently serves as Membership Secretary for ASTM Committee D01, Sub-Committee Chair of D20.50 and D20.61, and the Head of the US delegation to TC61.
No stranger to ASTM recognition, Gary has previously received the Award of Recognition in 2007, the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2013, and the Award of Excellent in 2014.
As the Global Manager of Standards, Quality and Calibration at Q-Lab Corporation, Gary directs the Company’s quality system and oversees standards, calibration, and audits. He has been with Q-Lab since 2005.
