Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service our Outdoor Exposure Testing facility in Wittmann, AZ. Reporting to the Arizona Site Manager, this position is responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of the Q-TRAC Natural Sunlight Concentrators, AIM (Automotive Interior Materials) Boxes and other testing equipment and will assist with exposures and maintain calibrations.
Responsibilities:
- Q-TRAC/AIM Box maintenance and calibration
- Assist in special project preparations as needed
- Turn on/off Q-TRAC and AIM Boxes
- Complete freeze/thaw process as needed
- Aid in direct exposure field layout planning, rack setup, etc.
- Create requisitions for material needed for maintenance and equipment as needed
- Housekeeping (keeping work area clean, helping with other housekeeping)
- Assist with general exposures as needed
- Other duties as required or necessary
Required Skills:
- Proven mechanical and/or electrical training and experience required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to read and follow schematics and electrical drawings
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work both in the field and inside a laboratory setting
- Clean driving record
