You will have the opportunity to service and repair lab instruments to a diverse customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Q-Lab has been a global provider of material durability testing products for more than 50 years. As an industry leader in the field of weathering technology, we develop, produce and distribute test substrates, weathering, light resistance and corrosion laboratory equipment.

Your tasks:
As a service technician / employee in technical support / support EMEA (m/f/d) in Saarbrücken:

• Troubleshooting defective laboratory instruments or test equipment and testing mechanical and electrical components and circuits for causes of faults
• Carrying out repairs to defective laboratory instruments or test equipment and testing the assemblies according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Developing solution recommendations for sales partners and direct customers and providing support by telephone and e-mail in
  troubleshooting existing problems
• Assisting with the coordination of technical training courses in Europe and the delivery of course content
• Occasional customer or dealer visits in the DACH region and EMEA area

Your profile: 

• Must live in Germany or be willing to relocate
• Recognized electrical or mechatronic training/further education/studies
• Several years of professional experience with technical devices
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents and manuals
• Willingness to travel, ideally experience with domestic and international travel
• Ability to work in a team, under pressure and with strong communication skills and enjoy building positive relationships with customers, dealers and colleagues
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize
• German at native speaker level, knowledge of English
• Good IT skills (Windows environment, Microsoft applications and relevant CRM systems)
