15 September Update
Hurricane Irma made landfall on 10 September 2017, affecting the southeastern United States, including Florida.
Q-Lab’s South Florida outdoor testing facility, the largest outdoor testing site in the world, was in Irma’s path. Our skilled team in Florida worked diligently in the days leading up to the storm to secure the site, including customer specimens.
The site sustained minor damage in the storm. All Q-Lab employees are accounted for and are safe, and as of late last week, power has been restored.
A team from our Westlake, Ohio home office arrived on site last week with supplies, including food, water, generators, and tools. They will be assisting in getting the facility operational as quickly as possible.
We will continue to update affected customers as we have more news to report.
