Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate. Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the primary responsibility will be receiving of incoming materials and assisting with the shipment of outgoing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Ship product/packages using UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and other shipping software.
- Select and ship orders using proper packaging and material banding equipment. Includes palletizing oversized and heavy items.
- Stage finished capital equipment and parts for future shipments in an organized manner.
- Complete all necessary shipping documents accurately and timely in conjunction with the Order Desk.
- Ensure that all shipments are arranged accurately (Item nr., qty, shipping method, “ship to” location, etc.)
- Track transactions and documents in our shipping system.

As an Accelerated Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of testing. Working with a team, you are expected to provide pricing to customers; receive, check-in and schedule tests; set up testers, expose and monitor tests; perform basic repairs on equipment; provide intermediate services and report results. Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. Reporting to the Director, Q-PANEL/Manufacturing Engineering, the primary responsibility will be to develop and implement custom solutions for our internal manufacturing-related problems. This position will support our facility by using creative problem solving and design skills to continuously improve the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Design, manage, and implement new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical test fixtures to support production of Q-Lab products and services
- Identify and implement new technology, capital equipment, processes, and methods to improve manufacturing efficiency and ergonomics
- Create and maintain production work instructions
- Project Management for manufacturing initiatives
- Create and maintain engineering documentation for Manufacturing using CAD
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
- 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, designing, managing, and implementing new machinery, tooling, and electro-mechanical test fixtures
- Highly proficient with 3D CAD (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Basic understanding of industrial electronics and electrical controls/systems
Experience With:
- Structural framework and weld design
- Sheet metal fabrication design
- Lean methodology
- Ability to work under difficult deadlines
- Excellent project management skills

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Field Repair Technician. If you are passionate about customer service, Q-Lab Corporation has an opportunity to take your technical skills to the next level! You will have the opportunity to service and repair lab instruments for a diverse customer base all over North America!
While this position requires frequent travel, we do require this candidate to reside within a 60-mile radius of our headquarters in Westlake, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment and test mechanical mechanisms and electronic circuitry for “root cause” failures.
- Perform hands-on repair for malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment, and tests assembly for conformance, in accordance to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Willing and able to travel domestically, with some international travel, 50% of the time annually, to provide repair support to our customers. This will include being away for up to a full week at a time as and when required.
- Provide the customer with phone and email recommendations to resolve lab instrument issues and or follow up with on-going issues with the customer. This may include, but is not limited to; sending replacement parts, referring the information to the main home office for further guidance, or performing an on-site resolution.
Required Skills:
- Recognized electrical or mechanical qualification with completed apprenticeship
- 5 years prior mechanical/electrical work experience
- Work experience with technical equipment, preferably in a laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competency to read and interpret documents, instructions and manuals.
- Diplomacy and tact in reporting NCE (non-conforming events) to management with urgency.
- English is the required language – Foreign languages helpful.
- Highly proficient computer skills – Windows environment and Microsoft applications and relevant CRM systems.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to move from one activity to another with a sense of urgency.
- Builds positive relationships with others.
- Excellent time management skills and proactive thinking.
- Domestic and International travel experience.
